An insulation board is recommended as a valuable add-on to the RUBBER COAT™ BT system. The insulation board helps protect the RUBBER COAT™ BT membrane from any damage when backfilling. In addition, the insulation board's excellent insulating characteristics, high resistance to water and water vapor-superior compressive strength and long-term durability resists moisture to deliver a stable R*-value over the long term.
*R means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power.
